The Story of Masterpeace
Masterpeace, spelled P-E-A-C-E on purpose, is all about mastering the art of peace, not just in the world around you, but in the deeper, darker world inside your own mind. Every track tells a story about struggle, rebellion, transformation, and the battle between destruction and inner peace.
The album opens with Dragon’s Flame, which comes straight out of the kind of moments where you’ve been pushed too far. The main character finally snaps,not in defeat, but in power, unleashing the fire within and consuming their foes with their Dragon’s Flame.
Peaceful War dives into the most intense battlefield there is: the one between good and evil inside your own mind. From the outside it may look calm and peaceful, but internally, that war can be constant rage.
The album’s title track, Masterpeace, is its own storyline. A rogue part of a rebellion is sent back in time to confront a man-made beast created for chaos and destruction. Their mission is simple: terminate this beast. However, the rogue finds a hint of humanity in the beast and convince them to join forces, and together, they end the sinister plan of chaos.
Never Enough is a song about people in power who keep taking, and taking, and taking. Nothing is ever enough for them. This track exposes them for who they are and watches them fall. What’s interesting is this theme hits home for almost everyone; you’ve probably dealt with someone like this in your own life.
Wings of Destruction was written long before certain events that make it feel almost prophetic now. Though it isn’t meant to be political, it speaks about two opposing wings of a great creature. And if those wings fight against each other, the entire beast collapses, taking everyone down with it. When both sides play the same game of deception, we’re the ones caught in the crossfire of a much darker agenda.
Final Rain leans into a black-metal feel, especially vocally. It opens with a soft, dark acoustic part before exploding into pure death and black metal. It’s the story of a king who had everything, but becomes corrupted from within. He can’t escape what he’s become, and as he destroys everyone around him, he chooses to remove himself from the world for the sake of the ones suffering under his reign. This is his Final Reign.
One track that often catches people off guard is Passing Through. This one comes from the perspective of someone who’s homeless, hopeless, and beaten down by life with nowhere left to go. It reflects how the world judges them from the outside while revealing the painful truth of what they see from within.
Masterpeace also carries two brutal instrumental tracks:
Anthem of Brutality, which is exactly what the name implies, It’s ultra-heavy and relentless. And The Metalizer is a driving, powerful track that’s both heavy and melodic.
Overall, Masterpeace blends the heaviness of melodic death metal with mixed vocals, thick guitars, and dark storytelling. Yet even with all the brutality, there’s melody, meaning, and a message woven into every song. Every track has its own character, its own lesson, and its own battle to be won.
